Walking therapy is a way to get outside of the typical office therapy setting to foster a different kind of emotional healing. We know that walking helps to reduce stress and encourages deep breathing, but did you know it also helps to clear the mind so that we can gain an understanding of ourselves? Walking can also help to decrease negative and ruminative thoughts and sensations and offer a fresh perspective on ourselves and our lives.
