Join us for a TRE Workshop at the Abundance Wellness Center. This in person event is designed to help you release deep rooted stress and tension from the body. Through a series of simple exercises, you will learn how to activate your body’s natural tremor response, which supports relaxation and healing.

This is a free workshop offered exclusively to teachers. You give so much of your energy, care, and emotional presence to your students, often while holding high levels of responsibility, pressure, and stress. TRE can be especially supportive for teachers because it offers the body a gentle way to discharge accumulated tension and restore a sense of balance. This workshop is offered as a gift of appreciation for the meaningful work you do, and as a space where you can be supported by peers while tending to your own well being. If you would like to purchase a donation ticket, all proceeds will go toward the cost of renting the space, which is forty five dollars per workshop.

To help ensure that this space is reserved only for teachers, the event is private and requires a password to register. Please contact Ashley at ashley@discoveringpeacewithin.com if you would like to register.

Whether you are new to TRE and want to learn more about it or are familiar with the deep healing that can occur when you shake with others, please join us for this exciting workshop.

TRE® is an innovative series of simple exercises which assist the body in releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension, and trauma by inducing a gentle muscular shaking response. This natural response generally feels pleasant and soothing, and after doing TRE, many people report feelings of peace and well-being.

What you can expect from this workshop: To learn about how stress and trauma are stored in the body as well as how to engage the body's natural tremor response. You will also learn how to integrate this practice into your everyday lives in order to continue benefiting from TRE on your own. Although TRE has been shown to benefit all ages, these workshops are designed for those over the age of 16. All fitness levels and body types are welcomed. Please arrive about 5-10 min early in order to allow us to start on time as the workshop will take the full 2 hours.

Please bring a yoga mat, a pillow and or blanket (not required) and a bottle of water. Please wear loose fitting or stretchy clothing (like you might wear to a yoga class). Please avoid eating or drinking large amounts less than 2 hours ahead of time. If you would like, you are welcome to wear a mask. All the exercises will be able to be performed comfortably with a mask covering.

We spend so much of our time focusing on others, we can often forget about our own needs. Please feel free to treat yourself to this free workshop and experience the benefits of TRE.
